Success!!

Our Annual Victory Dinner & Auction was a great success!

 

There were many items to bid on from sports teams, restaurants & local businesses.

After the bidding was over we played games & had loads of fun. 

Thank you to all those who participated in our annual fundraiser by praying, donating, attending, bidding & working. 

We raised just over $9,000 during the evening to support the great work that the teachers & staff are doing at Victory!! 

Cardinal Legend

 

 

 This framed jersey is from none other than Cardinal Hall of Fame player   Stan Musial.  

The jersey is professionally framed and hand painted with a likeness of Stan himself!  

 

This one of a kind piece will be available at our auction tomorrow night!

The wait is OVER!

I told you last week that the rest of the class projects were still in the works.  Tomorrow is the auction & they are all here so here's the big reveal. . . . . . . 

Miss Sherman's class made a blue piggy bank with everyone's thumb print decorated as them.  

 

First Grade made a piggy bank too.  Theirs is a cheerful yellow & super sweet!

The aprons by 2nd, 3rd & 4th grade were featured last week so now I'll skip to the 5th grade calendar.

This calendar goes all the way thru May of 2014 so 

you're getting a lot of bang for your calendar buck.  

Each month includes a print of an original artwork from a 5th grade student.  The picture above is by Andy Reichert.  

In addition to each student having their own page, the last month of the calendar includes this collage of all the artwork so you get a review of everyone's creation! 

The last project we have is by the Middle School Art club.  They also created a calendar.

Just a guess, but they might have taken their cover photo on a Middle School Spirit day.

This one by Olivia Finck.  I wish I could show you all the artwork but you'll just have to come to the auction if you want to see it & place a bid!

Now weren't those worth the wait?  I think they were!

MotoBike

Party Time

 

 Do you LOVE Parties??  These items all come from at home party businesses.  The first is Grace Adele who does jewelry and purses that are top quality.  This set of jewelry includes a bracelet, necklace and several earrings.  You can bid on all at the auction. 

 

Here is one I know you all know.  Scentsy is a home fragrance company.  If you've never used it before, just stop by the office.  They have one going and it is wonderful!  This auction item comes with three different wax scent packs and the Jolly Warmer.

 

 How about Fun Fondue!!  This last company Velata is one you may not have heard of before but it's from the same parent company as Scentsy so you know it's going to be great.  This auction item includes a fondue warmer and two packs of chocolate to get you started.

St Louis Blues

 The Blues may be locked out but the Hockey fan in your household can still get their fix in our auction.

We have this Amazing St Louis Blues Oshie jersey which has been autographed by #74 himself. 

 

We also have this Hockey Stick which was donated by the St Louis Blues.  It is a GAME USED stick and has been autographed by Alex Pietrangelo. 

Wheel Of FORTUNE

This basket is for the Wheel of Fortune fan in your life.  Where else can you get an autographed piece of the wheel, autographed photo of Vanna with Pat?  Not at the local Mall, that's for sure! 

You also get a certificate in this basket which is good for 4 VIP passes to see a taping of Wheel of Fortune, two talking keychains, pen, hat & bag.  It's the perfect Christmas gift!

Class Art Projects

All our kiddos are hard at work on class art projects to sell at the auction next Friday.  Here are three who have finished their work. 

Third grade made an apron for Mom or Dad to wear.  It's handprints to make a BBQ Flame.  It is just too adorable in person!  You really must see.

 

Fourth Grade made an apron with Butterflies made out of their hand prints!  Something to be treasured for years to come.   

Second Grade made an Apron with flowers made from hand prints.  What a great gift for Grandma's kitchen wall or something to use in your own art studio!

You'll have to wait until next week to see what the other grades made but trust me. . . it will be worth the wait. 

One Direction

Any fan of One Direction would love to have this auction item.  It's an autographed copy of their CD including the cover and it's already be matted so it's ready for you to frame & hang on the wall. 

 

If One Direction is not quite your speed, how about one from the Dave Miller Band?  

Both items come matted & with a certificate of authenticity.

Ready to Race

Rusty Wallace is a hometown boy who has been racing since 1980 and donated to our school auction several times.  He is a NASCAR driver who was elected to the 2013 Class of the International Motorsports Hall of Fame.  You can bid on this Autographed photo in this year's auction. 

Lady's Choice

We have two beautiful Coach bags available in the auction.  

 

The first is their Signature Tote in Mahogany color. 

 

 

The second bag is a larger tote in black.  

Both are lovely & would make a great Christmas gift.  

Rams or Chiefs??

Doesn't matter if you are a Rams fan or a Chief's fan.  Both organizations have generously donated to our Victory Dinner & Auction.  

For the Chief's fan, we have this autographed and framed photo of Matt Cassel.  

For the Rams fan in your household we have an autographed Lance Kendricks #88 mini Football.

Barron's Gymnastics

You can do so much at Barron's Gymnastics.  They have classes for boys training, girls gymnastics, tumble & tramp and more!!  It's fun for all ages at Barron's & with this basket your child can enjoy an open gym session with a friend plus have all these goodies to enjoy as well.  Thank you Barron's!

Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street??

Do you have a Sesame Street fan in your household? 

This big yellow guy is so sweet than when he heard about the amazing kids we have at Victory, he wanted to help out with our auction too!  

Big Bird wrote a special note for one Victory child and even sent one of his feathers!!  This item has been matted & framed so it is ready to adorn the walls of one little fan.  

Other items to bid on for your child include a year's subscription to Highlights Magazine along with some of their Puzzle Mania Books. 

Cardinals Baseball

The season is over for our beloved Cardinals but you can remember the good old days of the 2011 World Series with this 24 X 30 collage print.  This is an exclusive print that is not available in stores.  It is framed & ready for your Cardinal fan's wall.

Stephanie's Custom Cakes

One of Victory's own parents has donated a certificate from her small business to benefit Victory.

Joy FM's Greg & Sandy in the morning have donated a guest DJ spot to our annual auction.  You and one guest will get to sit in on a morning show and see all the behind the scenes workings of the DJ booth.

Tomorrow morning, October 12, Shawn Summers & his Daughter Claire will be using the certificate they won at last year's auction to do just that!  Be sure to tune in between 7am and 9am.
