I know we're all still excited about the Cardinals winning to World Series but it's Blues season now so here are a couple of great items in our auction that feature the St Louis Blues.

First we have an autographed Hockey Stick which is signed by the former Blues player Al MacInnes.   He finished his career third all-time among defencemen in goals, assists and points and was named to seven post-season all-star teams. He was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2007, and his jersey number 2 was retired by the Blues.  MacInnis remains a member of the Blues organization, currently serving as the team's Vice President of Hockey Operations.

The Second item we have is two tickets to a St Louis Blues game ON THE ICE.  Date will be announced at the auction.  These tickets are the best seats in the house and they include all the food and drinks you can handle while you are there.  You can see a game in style with this auction item so bring the bucks!

Tomorrow is the day we need everyone to make their reservations for the auction.  Stop by the office anytime during the day to purchase tickets.

I know some of you haven't had a chance to stop by the cafeteria to view the auction items so let me tell you about one more BIG item which was donated.  You have the opportunity to bid on this
Condo at Lake of Ozarks which sleeps 10 or more.
Osage Beach condo rental - The Big View from the Deck overlooking the Lake and the serene State Park
It has 2 bedrooms plus a large loft and 3 baths.  Be sure to click the link to take you to the listing for this great vacation spot and to see many interior photos.
You could team up with another family and bid together on this large condo unit and vacation together in August, September or October 2012.

I also wanted to remind you that one lucky winner at our auction will get to choose ANY item off our auction block that evening.  That means you could choose this condo stay for just your $20 raffle ticket purchase.  How great would that be???

Let's Start with 4 Field Box Tickets to a 2012

Student Artwork

You may have noticed while at today's parent-teacher conferences that the classrooms were decorated with new artwork.  They are so adorable that I know you'll each want to check out every grade.

Kindergarten Sea Life
Each class has taken the time to create a canvas for our auction.

1st Grade Busy Bees

Some used their thumb print.
2nd grade Bugs
Some used their fingers.

3rd grade School of Fish
Some even used pens to draw their own detailed faces on the fingerprints.

These paintings and more will be available only to those who attend our auction November 4th!

Back to Our Future

Did you know the future is almost here???

Back to the Future was a wildly popular movie trilogy back in the 80's.  Back then the future with flying cars and shrink to fit clothing was the year 2015.  I think the inventors better get to work because time is running out.

At this year's Victory Dinner & Auction we are celebrating the future of Victory Christian Academy  with a themed evening.  Come in costume as your favorite character from the movie series or as any of the time periods covered in the Back to the Future movies.

Hover Board anyone?  This is the future.
A little bit Rock n Roll in the 1950's
Is 1885 more your speed?
How about 1985?

The possibilities are endless.  So put on your thinking cap and get creative.

Then stay tuned for a preview of all the great items in our auction.
